St. Timothy's Middle School includes grades six through eight. Students follow class schedules in which they visit a variety of teachers throughout the day. All Middle School students take the following classes:
Literature- The literature program emphasizes critical thinking and includes both outstanding books and excerpts from the literature text.
History- During the Middle School years students study ancient history, American history, and American government through both traditional teaching and innovative projects.
Math- Math classes follow the progression of 6th Grade Math, 7th grade PreAlgebra , and 8th grade Algebra. Advanced students may be accelerated to complete Geometry in 8th Grade.
Science- St. Timothy's has a fully equipped science lab, which is put to excellent use in the hands-on science program.
Language Arts- Students complete writing and vocabulary assignments in all content area classes, in addition to taking a class dedicated to spelling and grammar.
Spanish- Middle School students have regular instruction in the Spanish language.
Physical Education- Students in grades 6-8 take P.E. two or more days each week.
Religion, Music, and Art- These courses are scheduled once per week and offer students the ability to explore the arts, ethics, and Christian practices.
